Tijjani Reijnders Agrees to Join Al Qadsiah From Manchester City

Softfootball can confirm that Tijjani Reijnders has said yes to Al Qadsiah, with all parties now reaching a verbal agreement over his transfer from Manchester City.

Manchester City have agreed to receive €61 million for the Dutch midfielder, with the two clubs now exchanging documents ahead of the final signatures.

Reijnders did not take part in training as he waits to travel to Saudi Arabia and complete the next stages of his move to Al Qadsiah.

The agreement represents a major investment from the Saudi club, who have been in advanced negotiations with Manchester City over the transfer.

Earlier reports indicated that Al Qadsiah were prepared to offer around €60 million for the 28-year-old midfielder, who has been an important figure for City.

The deal is now at the final documentation stage, with Reijnders set to begin a new chapter in the Saudi Pro League once the formalities are completed.

The highly rated young midfielder is now closer to completing a move to the Etihad Stadium, potentially providing City with a long-term option in midfield should Reijnders eventually depart.
