Samuel Chukwueze stole the spotlight as AC Milan delivered a stunning 6-1 victory against Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia round of 16 on Tuesday.

The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in the 12th minute, setting the tone for Milan’s dominant display. He struck again in the 21st minute, netting his second and Milan’s third goal of the match.
Chukwueze’s impressive performance takes his tally to three goals in 17 appearances across all competitions for AC Milan this season.
Milan’s attacking prowess was on full display, with additional goals coming from Tijani Reijnders, Rafael Leao, Tammy Abraham, and Davide Calabria. Sassuolo’s lone response came in the 59th minute, courtesy of Samuele Mulattieri.
The emphatic win rekindles memories of Milan’s last Coppa Italia triumph in the 2002/03 season, as the team sets its sights on breaking the two-decade drought.
With Chukwueze in form and Milan firing on all cylinders, the team looks poised for a deep run in this year’s competition.
