After scoring twice in Fulham’s impressive 3-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, Alex Iwobi has set a personal challenge to score on a more consistent basis.

The Nigeria international was in top form at Craven Cottage, helping his side secure a crucial win following a disappointing result against Tottenham.
Iwobi now has three goals and two assists in his last four appearances, showcasing his recent sharpness. Despite his standout performance, the 28-year-old believes he should be scoring more regularly. Speaking to Amazon Prime post-match, Iwobi shared his desire to contribute even more to Fulham’s attack.
“We wanted to get a win after the last game against Spurs. No better place to do it than at our home,” Iwobi said. “I should be getting more goals, but it was good to get them for the team.”
The former Everton man capitalized on Brighton’s high press to score, adding that Fulham’s structure worked well, particularly against Brighton’s style of play. “We know Brighton like to play out from the back, so we came up with a structure, and it obviously worked for the first goal. We take it however it goes in—a goal is a goal,” he explained.
Iwobi’s brace not only provided vital points for Fulham but also highlighted his growing influence on the pitch, as he looks to make an even bigger impact in the weeks ahead.
