Ndidi, who was substituted in the 52nd minute, reportedly felt a slight hamstring strain. Van Nistelrooy remarked, “Wilf, when he comes off, you know there’s a problem. I hope it’s minor. We’ll see how quickly we can get him back.”
Ndidi has been a vital part of Leicester’s campaign, featuring in 15 league matches this season.
The injury comes at a challenging time for Leicester, with Boubacar Soumare suspended and Harry Winks sidelined due to a groin issue, potentially leaving the team short-handed for their upcoming match against Newcastle United.

Leicester will await updates on Ndidi’s condition, hoping their midfield anchor can recover swiftly to avoid further disruptions in a critical period of their season.
