Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has reportedly questioned Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho as part of an internal investigation into recent team news leaks.

According to The Sun, United’s starting XI for Sunday’s derby against Manchester City appeared online well before the official announcement, prompting concern from the club.

United have now launched a probe to uncover the source of the leaks, with Amad and Garnacho reportedly being the first players asked for clarification.

This comes after Garnacho’s brother, Roberto, denied accusations on social media last week that he had been responsible for leaking team lineups in recent months.

Leaks of Manchester United’s team news have plagued several managers in recent years, including Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Erik ten Hag.

Now, Amorim—appointed as United’s head coach in November—has made it clear that he wants the issue resolved.

Speaking after United’s dramatic 2-1 win over City, which saw Garnacho left out and Amad Diallo emerge as the match-winner, Amorim admitted he is frustrated but realistic about the situation.

“I know the story, and I think it’s impossible to fix,” he said. “You have a lot of people in the club, the players talk with agents—it is not a good thing.”

Amad, whose stellar performance won the game for United, has been at the center of attention for his heroics.

However, the investigation casts a shadow over Garnacho, who has already faced scrutiny after being dropped for performance and attitude concerns.

Team leaks remain a long-standing issue in football, but with Amorim taking a hard stance, it’s clear Manchester United are determined to find answers and prevent further disruptions.
