Nnadozie Named Best Goalkeeper Again at CAF Awards 2024

Chiamaka Nnadozie, Nigeria’s Super Falcons shot-stopper, has added another feather to her cap, winning the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award at the 2024 CAF Awards.

The 24-year-old emerged victorious over Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini, thanks to her exceptional performances for both club and country.

Representing Nigeria at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and excelling at her club, Paris FC, Nnadozie proved her mettle once again on the big stage.

Expressing her gratitude, she said, “Last year I was here, and I am here again today, grateful to God. A big thank you to the CAF President and the Nigerian Football Federation President for their dedication to women’s football.”

Nnadozie also credited her success to Paris FC, her coaches, teammates, family, and friends. “Paris FC has invested so much in me, and my family and friends have been my rock since day one,” she added.

Having clinched this honor for the second consecutive year, Nnadozie’s journey continues to inspire, showcasing the rising prominence of African women in football.
