The pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, has praised the outstanding performances of Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and the entire Super Falcons team at the CAF awards ceremony in Marrakesh, Morocco.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Jare Ajayi, Afenifere congratulated Lookman on winning the African Player of the Year Award, the Super Falcons for being named the Best Women’s National Team of the Year, and Nnadozie for clinching the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year title for 2024.
“Afenifere is deeply proud of Lookman,” Ajayi stated. “He not only embraced his Nigerian heritage but also showcased resilience and determination, inspiring the younger generation. His success story proves that setbacks should never hinder dreams.”
