However, the celebration was tempered by a worrying injury to Bukayo Saka, who was forced off in the first half with a suspected hamstring issue.

Gabriel Jesus led the charge, continuing his stellar form with two goals, adding to his midweek Carabao Cup hat-trick against the same pponents.

The Brazilian found the net twice, sandwiching a stunning strike from Ismaila Sarr in the 11th minute. Kai Havertz extended Arsenal’s lead before halftime, while Gabriel Martinelli and Declan Rice sealed the emphatic win in the second half.

Despite the dominant display, Saka’s injury cast a shadow over the result. The England international, who has already contributed five goals and ten assists this season, was seen leaving the stadium on crutches, heightening concerns ahead of Arsenal’s busy Christmas schedule.

“He felt something in his hamstring and couldn’t continue,” manager Mikel Arteta revealed post-match. “We’re pretty worried, but we’ll have to assess him further to determine the severity.”

Arteta praised his team’s overall performance, acknowledging the challenge of facing Palace twice in three days.

“It’s always tough to play here, especially back-to-back, but we started well, gained control, and were clinical,” he said. “Scoring five away from home in the Premier League is remarkable.”

The manager also highlighted Gabriel Jesus’ resurgence, as the striker netted five goals in two games. “This run has been important for his confidence and belief,” Arteta noted.

“To score five goals in two matches is no small feat. Let’s hope he continues this momentum.”

While Arsenal’s form remains strong, all eyes are now on Saka’s fitness as the Gunners prepare for a critical period in their campaign.
