Despite making nine appearances this season, Iheanacho remains without a goal, struggling to find his rhythm in front of goal.
The action kicked off early when Carlo Ancelotti’s side took the lead in the 10th minute. Rodrygo set up Kylian Mbappe, who unleashed a powerful strike past Alvaro Fernandez.
Shortly after, Rodrygo added his own name to the scoresheet with a brilliant finish. However, Sevilla responded quickly as Isaac Romero headed in to reduce the deficit.
Madrid restored their dominance early in the second half. Diaz capitalized on Mbappe’s precise pass, slotting the ball into the far corner to reestablish their three-goal cushion.
Sevilla fought back in the dying moments, with Dodi Lukebakio finding the net after a pinpoint pass from Peque Fernandez, beating Thibaut Courtois at his near post. Despite the late surge, Madrid held firm to claim the win.
