**Fulham Preparing January Bid for Nigerian Striker Tolu Arokodare to Boost Attack**

Fulham are reportedly gearing up for a January transfer bid for Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare, currently impressing at Belgian side Genk. According to sources from *Soccernet.ng*, the 23-year-old has caught the eye of Fulham manager Marco Silva following his standout performances this season.

Arokodare, who was linked with a move to Turkish club Trabzonspor during the summer transfer window, has been in excellent form for Genk, scoring six goals in 10 appearances so far. This follows an impressive tally of 15 goals from the previous season, cementing his reputation as a rising star in European football.

*Haber61* reports that Fulham is now seriously considering a winter move for the 1.98-meter-tall striker, who would bring a strong physical presence to their frontline. If the deal materializes, Arokodare would join fellow Nigerians Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi at Craven Cottage, strengthening the club’s growing Nigerian contingent.

Despite having in-form strikers like Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz, Fulham remain keen on adding a powerful No. 9 to their attack. Arokodare’s imposing stature and goal-scoring ability make him an ideal candidate to provide an additional edge in the Premier League.

Though Arokodare and Napoli’s star forward Victor Osimhen are Nigerian strikers with different playing styles, Arokodare has expressed deep admiration for his compatriot. Speaking about Osimhen, Arokodare said, “He’s someone who knows what he wants and makes the best decisions for himself. I have always admired him.”

While Arokodare is yet to make his debut for Nigeria’s national team, he remains optimistic about his future with the Super Eagles. Reflecting on his career, he said, “The Nigerian Football Federation has not contacted me yet, but I believe that if I continue to focus, the opportunity will come. My absence from the national team shows that my time has not yet come.”

With Fulham monitoring his progress, a potential move to the Premier League could be the next major step in Arokodare’s promising career.
