Reports suggest that West Ham’s new manager Graham Potter has set his sights on Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, aiming to bring him to the club in the January transfer window.

Dewsbury-Hall, who moved to Chelsea in a £30 million deal from Leicester City last July, has had a tough time securing a consistent starting role this season under Enzo Maresca.

Despite playing a key part in Leicester’s promotion to the Premier League last season, the 26-year-old has struggled for minutes at Stamford Bridge. He’s only made five appearances as a substitute in the Premier League and has featured in just seven starts across the Carabao Cup and Conference League.

Following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui, West Ham has appointed Graham Potter as their new manager, and Dewsbury-Hall is reportedly high on his list of midfield targets for the January transfer window. Potter aims to bolster his squad with this move.

Dewsbury-Hall’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain. When asked last month about his situation, Maresca left the door open for a potential departure.

He emphasized the club’s satisfaction with Dewsbury-Hall’s attitude and work ethic but acknowledged that the final decision would lie between the club and player, especially if the midfielder expressed dissatisfaction over his lack of playing time.
