During Manchester United’s FA Cup victory against Arsenal, Harry Maguire was caught on camera calling Kai Havertz a “cheating s***house” after a controversial incident.
The match, held at the Emirates Stadium, saw Ruben Amorim’s side take the lead through Bruno Fernandes’ brilliant second-half finish. However, they were soon down to 10 men following a red card to Diogo Dalot.
Arsenal’s Gabriel equalised, and moments later, Maguire was penalised for minimal contact on Havertz, leading to a potential penalty for Arsenal.
Maguire, frustrated by Havertz’s theatrics, was seen shouting at the Arsenal forward, calling him a “cheating s***house.”
This sparked a massive brawl between the two teams, with United’s Manuel Ugarte possibly facing retrospective action from the FA for headbutting Havertz.
Despite the chaos, Martin Odegaard’s penalty was saved by Altay Bayindir, and Arsenal’s Havertz, along with Declan Rice, missed several close chances.
After 30 minutes of extra time and a 1-1 draw, the match went to penalties. Bayindir emerged as United’s hero again, saving Havertz’s spot-kick, and United sealed a 5-3 shootout victory.
United will now face Leicester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford. After the match, Amorim praised his team’s spirit and resilience, especially after being reduced to 10 men, though he acknowledged areas for improvement in their play, particularly in ball control and defensive organization.
