Reports indicate that Manchester United has refused to let Marcus Rashford join any Premier League rival in the January transfer window.

Despite Rashford’s desire for a “new challenge” and his agent’s visit to Italy for talks with AC Milan, the Serie A club has yet to pursue a deal. Meanwhile, Napoli, who were also reportedly interested, have shifted their focus to Alejandro Garnacho.

Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham have expressed interest, but United’s hierarchy, including Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is determined not to allow the 27-year-old forward to move within the league.

United is open to offers from foreign clubs, though they require that at least half of Rashford’s £325,000-a-week salary be covered.

Rashford hasn’t played in United’s last seven games, including being left out for the FA Cup win against Arsenal.

When asked about his future, manager Amorim stated, “I don’t know. I don’t know, we’ll see,” adding that Rashford must focus on his work, representing the club, and earning his place.
