The 19-year-old, who signed a three-and-a-half-year contract, brings versatility, creativity, and an impressive work ethic to Bournemouth.

Known for his exceptional dribbling and pace, Silcott-Duberry has been touted as a rising star, earning comparisons to elite wingers like Raheem Sterling.

The Hackney-born talent started his journey at Norwich City before joining Chelsea’s academy in 2017. While he didn’t break into Chelsea’s first team, he gained valuable experience representing their U21 side in competitions like the EFL Trophy.

Internationally, he has donned the England jersey at U16 and U17 levels, showcasing his potential on a broader stage.

Bournemouth, currently thriving under Spanish manager Andoni Iraola, sits eighth in the Premier League and is vying for a historic European qualification. Silcott-Duberry becomes their third January signing, following the arrivals of Julio Soler from Lanus and Matai Akinmboni from DC United.

While Bournemouth has bolstered their squad, departures such as Philip Billing and Max Aarons on loan to Napoli and Valencia respectively, underline the club’s strategic approach to squad development.
