The Nigeria Flying Eagles have arrived in Togo ahead of their opening match in the 2024 WAFU B U-20 Championship against Burkina Faso. This Group B match will take place at the Municipal Stadium in Lomé on October 18, 2024.
The Flying Eagles, who are the defending champions, are determined to start their title defense on a strong note. Following the Burkina Faso game, they will face Côte d’Ivoire in their second group stage match on October 24.
The tournament acts as a qualifier for both the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile
