The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to play all their group stage matches at the 45,000-seat Complexe Sportif de Fès in Morocco during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Located in the northeastern part of Morocco, Fès will be the venue for Nigeria’s crucial encounters.
The first of these matches will be on Tuesday, December 23, when Nigeria faces the Taifa Stars of Tanzania.
This marks just the second-ever meeting between the two nations at the AFCON finals, the first being a 3-1 victory for Nigeria in 1980.
Nigeria’s second match will take place on December 27, against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia. This game is set to be a rematch of the 2021 AFCON Round of 16, where Tunisia knocked out Nigeria.
The Super Eagles will close out their group stage campaign against Uganda on December 30. The two teams have met only once at the AFCON, with Nigeria losing 2-1 in the 1978 semi-finals.
The top two teams from each of the six groups, along with the four best third-place teams, will progress to the knockout stages of the tournament.
