In a groundbreaking move, Manchester United have reportedly agreed on a €37.5 million (£31.4m) deal with Lecce to secure the signing of the versatile wing-back Patrick Dorgu.
This exciting transfer marks the first signing under the new management of Ruben Amorim.

According to sources from Sky Sport Italy, United will pay €30 million (£25.2m) upfront, with an additional €7.5 million (£6.2m) in performance-based add-ons.
The 20-year-old, who joined Lecce from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland for a mere €200,000 (£175,000) in 2022, is poised to play a pivotal role in Amorim’s 3-4-3 system, which heavily relies on dynamic wing-backs.
Meanwhile, negotiations continue between United and Napoli for Alejandro Garnacho, though the Serie A leaders hesitate to meet the €65 million (£54.5m) asking price.

While Napoli is willing to offer up to £55 million, they’re also exploring alternative targets like Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.
Chelsea has not officially pursued their interest in Garnacho, though United’s inquiries about Christopher Nkunku hit a roadblock as Chelsea demands a £65 million fee.
Nkunku, courted by Bayern Munich, is keen on a permanent move from Stamford Bridge rather than a loan.
