This announcement puts an end to speculation about Tuchel potentially replacing Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford, as he had been strongly linked with a move to the club. However, the Manchester Evening News has reported that Manchester United officials have firmly rejected these claims and have no intention of appointing Tuchel. As it stands, Ten Hag is expected to remain in charge for Saturday’s upcoming match against Brentford at Old Trafford.
