Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has heaped praise on his compatriot Victor Osimhen, calling him one of the finest strikers in global football.

Osimhen, 26, made a high-profile move to Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray last September and has been in exceptional form. In just 22 appearances, he has already netted 17 goals and provided five assists, proving his immense value to the team.

Etebo, who has also played for Galatasaray, believes Osimhen made the right decision by joining the Turkish champions. Speaking to Milliyet, he expressed confidence in the forward’s abilities.

“Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world, and I think the football community recognizes that. Moving to Galatasaray was a great choice for him,” Etebo stated.

Describing Osimhen’s work ethic, he added, “He is a determined player who always gives his all for the team. He keeps scoring and will surely continue to do so. His future looks very bright, and I have no doubt he will achieve great success.”
