Unai Emery has confirmed that Ezri Konsa, Amadou Onana, and John McGinn are all fit and ready for Aston Villa’s Premier League match against Fulham on Saturday.
Villa has made a strong start to the season, currently sitting fifth in the Premier League with 14 points from seven games. The team has also impressed in the Champions League, securing victories over Young Boys and Bayern Munich in their opening matches.
Despite dealing with several injury concerns, Emery noted that the situation is improving. Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara are now back in contention alongside Onana, Konsa, and McGinn, with goalkeeper Robin Olsen the only absentee.
Emery addressed the media on Friday, stating, “Mings and Kamara are getting better and will travel with us to Fulham. McGinn, Konsa, and Jaden [Philogene] are all feeling good too. This is the first time this year we have almost all players available.”
While Olsen is training, he isn’t fully fit and won’t be included in the squad.
Jhon Duran, who has made an impact off the bench with four goals this season and also scored for Colombia during the international break, is also available. Emery is considering starting him soon, saying, “Jhon’s performances have been very good, and he’s ready for his next challenge.”
Aston Villa has had the upper hand in recent encounters with Fulham, winning three of the last six meetings.
