Manchester United have suffered yet another setback with Amad Diallo ruled out for several weeks after picking up an ankle injury in training.
The 22-year-old winger has been a key figure under Ruben Amorim, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists this season.
However, Diallo took to social media to confirm his injury, expressing his disappointment at being sidelined during a crucial phase of the campaign.
His absence deepens United’s ongoing injury crisis ahead of their Premier League showdown against Tottenham.
With Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, and Toby Collyer also missing, Amorim is running out of options in midfield and attack.

Reports suggest Diallo may require surgery, potentially ruling him out for the remainder of the season.
United’s official statement provided a glimmer of hope, stating that while there’s no definitive timeline for his return, the winger is expected to be out for “a number of weeks.”
He now joins a lengthy list of absentees, including Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, and Jonny Evans, leaving the squad significantly weakened.
Diallo’s injury further exposes United’s attacking struggles, especially after allowing Marcus Rashford and Antony to leave on loan in January.
Amorim now has limited forward options, with Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund, and Alejandro Garnacho left to carry the burden. However, only Zirkzee has managed a goal in 2024, and the trio have collectively scored just eight league goals this season.
United’s scoring woes continue to haunt them, with only Ipswich, Leicester, and Southampton netting fewer goals in the league.
With just 28 goals in 24 matches while conceding 34, United’s push for European football is looking increasingly difficult.
