As Arsenal gear up for their Premier League clash against Bournemouth, Mikel Arteta remains hopeful of having key players Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz ready to feature in the starting XI. The Gunners are seeking to bolster their squad following a series of injury setbacks during the international break.

Injury Concerns and Key Returns
The biggest blow came in September when captain Martin Ødegaard suffered a significant ankle ligament injury, ruling him out until November. Arsenal’s injury woes continued as Saka was forced off in England’s Nations League defeat to Greece due to a hamstring issue. Saka has since returned to the club for treatment, with Arteta optimistic about his recovery and availability for the trip to Bournemouth.

Kai Havertz and Thomas Partey also faced injury concerns after withdrawing from their respective national squads for Germany and Ghana. However, both players have made positive progress and are expected to be available for selection.

Gabriel Martinelli, who was recalled to the Brazil squad this month, remains a doubt after undergoing an MRI scan to assess a calf problem. He returned to training on Friday but his availability for the Bournemouth match is still uncertain.

Meanwhile, Ben White, absent since Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City in September, is edging closer to full fitness and could be in contention this weekend after missing the last four matches.

Possible Lineup vs Bournemouth
With several players nearing a return, Arsenal’s potential lineup may see David Raya in goal, with a back four of Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, and Riccardo Calafiori. Declan Rice and Thomas Partey could partner in midfield, joined by Mikel Merino. Up front, Saka and Havertz could support Leandro Trossard in attack.

Where to Watch and Kick-off Time
Bournemouth vs Arsenal kicks off at 5:30pm on Saturday, 19th October. The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with streaming options available via the Sky Go app and NOW TV.

As Arsenal look to extend their unbeaten start to the season, the return of key players like Saka and Havertz could be pivotal in their quest for three points on the south coast.
