Juventus CEO Maurizio Scanavino has confirmed that the club is in discussions with Paul Pogba’s representatives regarding his future at the club. This comes after a recent decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) that reduced Pogba’s four-year doping ban to 18 months, allowing him to potentially return to play by March 2025
However, indications suggest that Pogba’s time at Juventus may be coming to an end, with reports stating that the club is exploring options to terminate his contract, which currently runs until June 2026
Scanavino acknowledged that Pogba has been largely absent due to injuries and his suspension, stating, “These are all elements to be evaluated,” as he hinted at a possible separation
Despite his status as one of the club’s highest-paid players, it seems that Juventus is looking for a resolution that may not involve Pogba donning the black-and-white stripes again
