Chelsea are set to sign 17-year-old left-back Denner Alves Evangelista Pereira from Corinthians, continuing their trend of acquiring top young Brazilian talents. The Blues will reportedly pay €15m (£12.4m), including add-ons, for Denner, who is the cousin of Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães.
Denner recently earned his first call-up to Brazil’s U17 national team ahead of the 2025 South American U17 Championship. His performances for Corinthians U20s helped them reach the final of the 2025 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, further cementing his status as a top prospect.
Alongside Denner, Chelsea have also secured the signing of Estêvão Willian from Palmeiras, with the young winger set to arrive at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2025. The highly-rated Brazilian has already drawn comparisons to Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, with legends like Ronaldo and Neymar predicting a bright future for him.

One of their recent signings, Andrey Santos, is currently impressing on loan at Strasbourg, with Chelsea planning to make him a key player under new manager Enzo Maresca next season. Strasbourg head coach Liam Rosenior has praised Santos’ maturity and intelligence, comparing him to Brazil’s 1994 World Cup-winning captain Dunga.
