Obi, who was absent from the game due to his first-team call-up for United’s FA Cup clash with Fulham, still found a way to be involved. After Mantato posted about the win on Instagram, Obi responded: “THANK YOU SO MUCH” alongside laughing emojis.

The 17-year-old Danish striker, who previously starred in Arsenal’s youth setup before moving to United in 2024, has already made two senior appearances under Ruben Amorim. His rapid rise has sparked talk of an international call-up, with Denmark looking to secure his future ahead of potential interest from Nigeria and England.
