Newcastle United have no plans to sell Alexander Isak this summer, despite strong interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, and top European clubs. The Swedish striker, who has scored 19 goals and registered five assists in 24 Premier League games, remains a crucial figure for Eddie Howe’s squad.

Arsenal have long identified Isak as their primary summer target, though his price tag may prove to be a hurdle. Liverpool have reportedly submitted a player-plus-cash offer, while Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Barcelona have also been linked.

Newcastle CEO Darren Eales dismissed speculation, stating that the club has no financial pressure to sell. “We’re not looking to move any player on. Our players are on long-term deals, and we’re committed to keeping our key players,” he said.

Eales also confirmed that Newcastle will initiate contract extension talks with Isak, following similar renewals for Joelinton, Bruno Guimarães, and Anthony Gordon. “We want our best players here.

With Newcastle standing firm, any club hoping to sign Isak faces a massive challenge, as the Magpies look to secure their star striker’s future with a lucrative new deal.
