Robinson specifically recommended West Ham United as a destination, suggesting a January transfer could benefit both the player and Chelsea.
Chilwell has faced a challenging season at Chelsea, having made only one appearance thus far.
Maresca reportedly advised the England international to explore other club options over the summer, a suggestion Robinson believes Chilwell should now consider seriously.
Appearing on The Inside Track podcast, Robinson said,
“A loan deal to West Ham would do the trick. Ben Chilwell is an excellent player who has unfortunately been sidelined at Chelsea.”
He further highlighted how the move could benefit Chilwell’s chances with the national team, explaining,
“For his international hopes, he needs to be playing regularly. Location-wise, West Ham is ideal as it allows him to stay in London without uprooting his family.”
Robinson added that January could bring opportunities for significant transfers, and he believes a move to West Ham would provide a viable, short-term solution for both Chelsea and Chilwell as he seeks to revive his career.
