The Nigerian international, who showcased his striking prowess with a sensational goal in Galatasaray’s recent win over Antalyaspor, hopes to continue his impactful form and contribute to the team’s success.
Osimhen, currently with three goals for the Turkish Super Lig champions this season, shared his thoughts on the upcoming fixture in an interview with Beyaz TV. Despite his impressive goal-scoring abilities, the 25-year-old emphasized that his focus remains on a team victory rather than personal achievement.
“Of course, I think the Beşiktaş match will be tough,” Osimhen admitted. “But we are ready and will give it our all. We want to get the 3 points. I don’t care whether I score against Beşiktaş or not. I just want to win. The team wants to win too, and I think we are ready.”
As Galatasaray prepares to face one of their fiercest rivals, Osimhen’s team-first mindset will be a key asset. Both sides are expected to bring their best to the pitch, with Galatasaray looking to strengthen their position in the Turkish League standings.
