CAF Schedules Super Eagles’ Final AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Against Rwanda and Benin Republic

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s concluding 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda for Monday, November 18.

This decisive Matchday 6 encounter, to be held at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, will finalize Group D’s qualifications for the 35th AFCON finals, set to take place in Morocco across December 2025 and January 2026.

The game is slated for a 5pm kickoff, Nigeria time, and will be officiated by a Moroccan refereeing team led by Samir Guezzaz, with assistants Zakaria Brinsi, Abdessamad Abertoune, and fourth official Kech Chaf Mustapha.

Ghana’s Prosper Harrison Addo will serve as commissioner, with Somali referee assessor Ali Mohamed Ahmed.

Ahead of that match, Nigeria faces Benin Republic in their Matchday 5 clash on Thursday, November 14, at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, kicking off at 8pm Nigeria time.

CAF has appointed Senegalese officials, including referee Issa Sy and assistants Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura, and fourth official El Hadji Amadou Sy, with Ivorian Rene Williams Sere as commissioner and Angola’s Inacio Manuel Candido as referee assessor.
