Lookman, who recently earned a remarkable 14th-place finish at the Ballon d’Or, was previously linked to PSG during the summer transfer window.
Gasperini hinted in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport that the Parisian club’s interest in Lookman could see a resurgence in January.
Reflecting on PSG’s summer interest, Gasperini noted, “Lookman was tempted in the summer by PSG. No, it was not a good moment, and who knows — maybe these considerations will come back, hopefully not in January. For now, the focus is on him remaining a key part of our team.”
Lookman, notably the only African player nominated for this year’s Ballon d’Or, has been an essential figure for Atalanta, attracting significant attention from European giants like PSG.
Hope Atalanta holds out for a better deal this time.
Seems like they only want him when he’s on fire!
