In a strong showing, Iheanacho netted twice, marking his debut goals for the La Liga club since joining on a free transfer from Leicester City over the summer.

Sevilla initially took the lead thanks to an own goal by Luis Mendez in the first half. Iheanacho then doubled the advantage at the hour mark and later secured a second goal, further solidifying Sevilla’s lead.

Reflecting on the achievement, Iheanacho said, “I’m very happy to have scored my first goals for this club. It’s very good for my confidence and that of the team, which hopefully will finish in the top six.”
