Brentford have set an asking price of £50 million for forward Bryan Mbeumo, who is drawing interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.

The 25-year-old Cameroon international joined Brentford in 2019 for less than £6 million from Troyes and has since established himself as a key player.
Mbeumo played a significant role in Brentford’s promotion to the Premier League and has been one of the league’s most consistent performers over the past three seasons.
This season, Mbeumo is on track for his most prolific campaign yet, having already scored eight goals in nine Premier League matches. His form has become crucial for Brentford, especially following Ivan Toney’s departure to Saudi Arabia.
Currently, only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland has outscored Mbeumo, which has intensified the interest from top clubs.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has recognized Mbeumo’s growth and hinted at a future move to a bigger club, saying he is “convinced” the player will eventually make that leap.
With Arsenal keen to enhance their attacking options after not signing a forward last summer, and Liverpool preparing for life after Mohamed Salah, who could leave at the end of the season, Mbeumo fits the profile both clubs are looking for.
Ex-Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino believes Mbeumo could be an ideal replacement for Salah, praising his goal-scoring ability and overall influence on the pitch.
While Manchester United have not been directly linked to Mbeumo, former player Mikael Silvestre suggested he would be an excellent addition to the squad, highlighting Mbeumo’s potential to succeed at Old Trafford.
As Mbeumo continues to impress, he will aim to maintain his excellent form when Brentford faces west London rivals Fulham next.
