Recently, Iwobi released his second single, “What’s Luv?”, following his debut track “Don’t Shoot” earlier this year.
Through his music and sports career, the 28-year-old hopes to show youths that they can pursue multiple passions and still achieve success.
Reflecting on his upbringing in a challenging part of London, Iwobi shared, “Growing up, I understand the struggles many face, and I’m grateful to have the chance to make a difference.”
Speaking with BBC Sport, he emphasized that his music is about encouraging young people to think beyond conventional limits, aiming to motivate them to chase their dreams and focus on positive activities.
He also noted that creating music complements his football career rather than detracting from it. “Making music helps me unwind without taking away from my commitment to football. I’m always dedicated to improving in my sport, and this is a meaningful way to spend my spare time.”
Iwobi’s journey in sports and music highlights his dedication to both passions, setting an example for youths to embrace their interests fully and pursue their dreams.
