The Super Eagles of Nigeria will kick off preparations for their fifth match in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, with their camp set to open in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on Monday, November 10.

The Nigerian squad, three-time AFCON champions, are gearing up for a crucial encounter against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic, which will take place at the Felix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on Thursday, November 14.
All players invited to represent Nigeria in this vital clash are expected to travel directly to Abidjan from their respective club bases.
Following their face-off with Benin, the Super Eagles will then host the Amavubi of Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Monday, November 18.
Interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen is set to unveil his squad for these decisive games later this week.
Currently leading Group D of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers with 10 points from four matches, Nigeria only requires a single point from either of the upcoming fixtures to secure their place in the AFCON 2025 finals.
