Despite Haaland’s record-breaking 36 goals in his debut Premier League season, former Netherlands star Rafael van der Vaart believes Gyokeres brings “a bit more” than the Norwegian star.
Gyokeres, who has scored 59 goals in 65 games for Sporting, has attracted significant interest due to his goal-scoring prowess, including 16 goals in 10 league games this season.
With a potential move to the Premier League on the horizon, Van der Vaart told Ziggo Sport that the Swedish forward “is a bit of a better version of Haaland,” commending his versatility and calmness in front of goal.
