Juventus was forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, with Dusan Vlahovic’s penalty canceling out Jonathan David’s first-half strike.

Juventus goalkeeper Di Gregorio had little chance with David’s opener, as the defense was caught off-guard during a one-on-one situation. He received a rating of 6 for his performance, considering the circumstances.
In defense, Cambiaso was fairly involved going forward, but didn’t have the impact Juventus needed, earning a 6. Gatti, despite a few misplaced passes and minimal defensive duties, also got a 5.5.
Kalulu, responsible for the defensive lapse that led to Lille’s goal, was notably poor, receiving a rating of 5. Cabal also struggled, not offering the solidity needed on the left flank, earning a 5.5.
Locatelli played a steady game as Juventus’ deepest midfielder, completing 92% of his passes and generally keeping control in the middle. He earned a solid 6.5 for his efforts.
Thuram, despite some promising moments, could have been more clinical in the final third, rated at 6. Conceicao was a bright spark in the second half, playing a part in most of Juventus’ attacking moves, winning the penalty, and overall impressing with a rating of 7.
Koopmeiners, still recovering from an injury, had two goals disallowed for offside but never looked fully sharp, earning a 5.5. Yildiz, despite being a competent dribbler, was largely uninvolved in the final third, finishing with a rating of 6.5.
Vlahovic, however, was clinical when called upon, converting a penalty with composure and causing problems for the Lille defense, ultimately scoring a 7.
For Lille, goalkeeper Chevalier made some crucial saves, including denying Vlahovic in the first half, and was awarded a 7.5. The rest of Lille’s players had mixed performances, with David shining with a 7 for his opener.
The defensive line, while solid overall, didn’t offer much to challenge Juventus’ attack and earned ratings ranging from 6 to 6.5.
Overall, while Juventus’ second-half response was commendable, their defensive lapses and missed opportunities in the final third ultimately prevented them from securing all three points.
