Tchouameni, 24, has been with Madrid since 2022 after his €100 million transfer from Monaco and has been a key figure in their midfield, contributing to the club’s successes, including winning La Liga and the Champions League last season.
However, the French international has come under scrutiny for his performances this season, with some Madrid supporters even expressing their frustration by whistling at him during the team’s 3-1 loss to AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Reports indicate that Real Madrid is now open to selling Tchouameni, and Liverpool have initiated talks with his representatives to explore the possibility of bringing him to Anfield.
Despite his recent struggles, Tchouameni’s potential departure from Madrid seems likely, with the club reportedly seeking €60 million (£50m) for the midfielder.
To replace him, Madrid are reportedly eyeing Manchester City’s Rodri, while Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez is also on their radar as a possible addition to their midfield.
