Roma has been struggling in Serie A, and after just 12 matches under Ivan Juric, the club decided to part ways with the Croatian coach following a disappointing 3-2 home loss to Bologna.

Juric’s tenure saw only four wins, leaving Roma in 12th place and in search of stability.

Roma’s American owners, Dan and Ryan Friedkin, are exploring options, with Ten Hag and former Chelsea manager Graham Potter among the top names being considered.

Sources suggest that “various agents” recommended both to The Friedkin Group, sparking discussions about Ten Hag’s availability.

While he’s seen as an ideal candidate to provide the much-needed stability, there are reports that Ten Hag may be reluctant to take on a role amidst the recent turmoil at Roma’s Stadio Olimpico.

Ten Hag’s tenure at Manchester United ended after a poor run of results, despite leading the team to an FA Cup win over rivals Manchester City. He expressed disappointment about not achieving his goal of adding more trophies for United, acknowledging the unwavering support from fans and staff.

His heartfelt farewell noted how he cherished the memories and support from the United faithful across the globe, stating his dream was “to bring more trophies to the cabinet.”

With Roma’s search for a new manager intensifying, it remains to be seen if Ten Hag will be willing to step into this challenging role and potentially bring his experience to a club that’s eager for a turnaround.
