Portugal surged to a commanding 5-1 victory over Poland in the UEFA Nations League, showcasing an explosive second-half display.

The first half saw both teams go into the break with a 0-0 draw, despite chances for João Neves, Bruno Fernandes, and Cristiano Ronaldo, with the latter missing a few key opportunities.
However, the game took a dramatic turn after halftime, as Rafael Leão opened the scoring in the 59th minute with a well-executed header, assisted by Nuno Mendes.
Cristiano Ronaldo doubled Portugal’s lead in the 72nd minute with a penalty, awarded after Jakub Kiwior’s handball in the box. Bruno Fernandes followed with a stunning long-range strike in the 80th minute, making it 3-0, assisted by Vitinha.
Portugal didn’t stop there, as Pedro Neto added a fourth goal in the 83rd minute, once again assisted by Ronaldo. The final flourish came in the 87th minute, as Ronaldo scored a brilliant bicycle kick to seal his brace and put Portugal up 5-0.
Poland grabbed a late consolation goal through Dominik Marczuk in the 88th minute, but it was too little, too late, as the match ended 5-1 in favor of the Selecao.
Portugal now top their group with an impressive win, displaying both clinical finishing and relentless attacking play.
