Ademola Lookman has returned to training with Serie A side Atalanta following his early withdrawal from international duty with Nigeria.

The 27-year-old winger sustained a minor injury during the Super Eagles’ 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic last Thursday in Abidjan.
As a result, Lookman missed Nigeria’s final group-stage match against Rwanda in Uyo on Monday. However, according to reports from Calcio News24, he participated in light training sessions at Atalanta’s training facility on Wednesday.
The talented winger is now expected to feature in Atalanta’s upcoming Serie A clash against Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini this Saturday.
Lookman’s form this season has been exceptional, with eight goals and five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions under Gian Piero Gasperini’s management.
His return will be a significant boost for Atalanta as they aim to maintain momentum in the league.
