Meanwhile, Marco Silva’s Fulham aim to bounce back after a humiliating defeat to Wolves and continue their impressive London derby streak.

Match Preview

Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs come into this game after a dramatic 2-2 Europa League draw with Roma, where late defensive lapses denied them all three points. Domestically, Tottenham’s recent form has been mixed.

They demolished Manchester City 4-0 in their last Premier League outing but have won just once in their last four games across all competitions.

Sitting in sixth place, Postecoglou’s side is within striking distance of the top four. However, defensive frailties remain a concern, with injuries and suspensions depleting their backline.

Despite this, Spurs have been prolific at home, scoring in eight consecutive matches since September.

Fulham
The Cottagers suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Wolves last weekend, halting a three-match unbeaten run in the league.

Fulham’s attack has been consistent, finding the net in every game since their season opener against Manchester United.

Currently in ninth place, Silva’s team remains in contention for a European spot but faces a stern test against a Spurs side desperate to regain consistency.

Fulham has a strong record in London derbies this season, going unbeaten in their last seven such encounters, including a resounding 3-0 win over Spurs in March.

Team News

Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs remain without several key players. Cristian Romero is nearing recovery but is unlikely to feature, joining Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, and Richarlison on the sidelines. Rodrigo Bentancur is also unavailable as he serves the second of his seven-match domestic suspension.

Yves Bissouma is expected to start in midfield alongside James Maddison, who returns to the lineup after being rested midweek. Fraser Forster will continue in goal, with Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie anchoring the flanks.

Predicted Lineup:
Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son

Fulham
Fulham’s midfield options have been weakened with Harrison Reed sidelined until January after knee surgery. Joachim Andersen is also out with a calf injury, and Jorge Cuenca is unavailable. Issa Diop will step in at center-back alongside Calvin Bassey.

Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe, both former Arsenal players, could feature, adding extra spice to the derby. Alex Iwobi will look to build on his recent goal against Wolves, while Raul Jimenez leads the attack.

Predicted Lineup:

Key Matchup

  • Tottenham’s Attack vs. Fulham’s Defense
Spurs’ front three of Heung-Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke will test Fulham’s defense, which looked vulnerable in their last outing. Fulham will rely on Issa Diop and Bernd Leno to steady the ship.
  • Midfield Battle
James Maddison’s creativity will go head-to-head with Fulham’s Andreas Pereira, who has been a key playmaker for Silva’s side.

Prediction

Tottenham’s injury-hit defense will likely concede, but their attacking firepower should be enough to overcome a Fulham side still reeling from their defeat to Wolves.

Expect goals at both ends, with Spurs edging this one to break Fulham’s unbeaten London derby streak.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 3–2 Fulham
