Despite a strong performance from Brennan Johnson, who scored for the fourth consecutive match, Spurs struggled for large stretches of the game, particularly in the second half.

Fulham, on the other hand, were denied by several fine saves from Fraser Forster and hit the woodwork but ultimately found their equalizer through Tom Cairney’s superb curling effort.

The first half was frenetic, with both sides struggling to control the game, but Fulham created the better chances, which were thwarted by Forster. Spurs took the lead against the run of play when Johnson scored. However, Fulham responded well, and Cairney’s equalizer was a deserved reward for their efforts.

The game ended in frustration for Spurs as Fulham’s skipper Cairney was sent off late in the match. Tottenham, missing a recognized No. 9, couldn’t capitalize on the man advantage, and Fulham held on for a well-earned point.
