Ademola Lookman has earned a spot in the Serie A Team of the Year, thanks to his stellar displays throughout 2024. The list, compiled by whoscored.com, features Lookman as the only representative from Atalanta.

Other notable names include Inter Milan’s Federico Dimarco, Marcus Thuram, and Hakan Calhanoglu, as well as former Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic.
Lookman’s 2024 season was unforgettable, leading Atalanta to the Coppa Italia and Europa League finals. Despite a narrow 1-0 loss to Juventus in the Coppa Italia, Lookman’s brilliance was on full display in the Europa League final, where he netted a hat-trick in Atalanta’s 3-0 triumph over Bayer Leverkusen.
The Nigerian forward also made history as the only African nominated for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, finishing 14th overall.
He capped off the year by winning the CAF Player of the Year award, becoming the sixth Nigerian to achieve this prestigious honor.
