Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has expressed his excitement about the remarkable team spirit within the squad this season.
Marco Silva’s team has been in impressive form, currently sitting in sixth place in the Premier League standings.
Speaking with BBC Sport Africa, Iwobi highlighted the camaraderie both on and off the pitch. “We’re truly fighting for each other,” he said.
“What you see during matches is just part of it. Behind the scenes, there’s a genuine brotherhood among us. It’s a great environment with strong chemistry, and that’s driving our success.”
Iwobi, who hasn’t played European football in years, shared his aspirations. “We have the talent, and returning to European competition is a dream I’m eager to achieve,” he admitted.
The midfielder also emphasized the team’s confidence, stating, “We fear no one. We believe we can compete with anyone and secure three points. The sky’s the limit for us.”
