Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson has brushed off speculation linking him with a potential move to Liverpool this summer, labeling it as just a “story in the paper.” The American international is reportedly on Liverpool’s radar as they seek to strengthen their left-back position ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Liverpool are expected to be active in the upcoming transfer window as they aim to address areas of concern, with the left-back spot being a priority. Andy Robertson has shown signs of decline this season, while Kostas Tsimikas has failed to establish himself as a reliable alternative.

Robinson, who has impressed with 10 assists in 28 Premier League appearances this season, has been one of the standout performers for Fulham. Only Mohamed Salah has provided more assists in the league this term, which has naturally attracted interest from top clubs.

However, when asked about the Liverpool rumors in an interview with ESPN, Robinson urged fans to take the speculation lightly. “Transfer rumors and stuff like that, I try not to look at. Especially with the Liverpool one, all my friends and family are from Liverpool, so it’s more of them messaging me than me seeing newspaper stuff,” he said.

Robinson emphasized that his focus remains on helping Fulham push for European football. “I’m truly focused on reaching the level I feel I can. Whether that’s playing Champions League or European competitions with Fulham, I want to make sure I get there,” he added.

The 27-year-old, who joined Fulham from Wigan Athletic in 2020 for £1.8 million, still has over three years remaining on his contract. During his time at Craven Cottage, he has contributed three goals and 21 assists in 180 appearances.

While Robinson has not ruled out a future move to Anfield, reports suggest Liverpool are also considering other options. Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri and Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez are among the alternative targets being monitored by the Reds.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is reportedly keen on securing Kerkez’s signature, while doubts remain over whether Robinson will be the ideal fit for the club’s long-term plans.
