The 19-year-old Turkish international joined Madrid in a £17 million transfer from Fenerbahce 18 months ago, committing to a six-year deal at the Bernabeu. Guler is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in football, a reputation further bolstered by his standout performances at the European Championship.

However, Guler’s time at Real Madrid has been marred by limited opportunities under Carlo Ancelotti. Frustration has reportedly set in for the talented midfielder as he struggles to secure regular minutes. Arsenal is said to have reached out to Guler’s camp to assess his availability and interest in a potential move to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Sky Deutschland reports that Bayer Leverkusen has been closely monitoring Guler’s development since before his move to Madrid. The Bundesliga side views him as a possible successor to Florian Wirtz, who is expected to join Bayern Munich next season. Leverkusen has maintained communication with Guler’s representatives but has yet to initiate formal talks with Real Madrid.

Madrid remains firm on their stance, with club officials adamant that Guler is not for sale. The player’s contract runs until 2029, and Ancelotti has recently given the youngster more opportunities, showcasing trust in his potential. Following a 3-0 win over Leganes, Ancelotti lauded Guler’s contribution, particularly his creativity and near-goal-scoring moments.

On the international stage, Guler’s manager, Vincenzo Montella, believes the midfielder is on the verge of flourishing. Montella praised Guler’s character development and confidence, stating, “Arda will play more in the future, he just needs an opportunity.”

For now, Arsenal and Leverkusen may find it challenging to pry Guler away, as Real Madrid looks keen to nurture their prodigious talent.
