Arsenal, however, is ready to make a decisive move. With Mikel Arteta looking to strengthen his defensive lineup for a title challenge. And they are also in pursuit of PSG start in the summer transfer window the Gunners are prepared to bid for Araujo, whose contract expires in 18 months. If the Uruguayan stalls on an extension, Barcelona may entertain offers.
