Arsenal are reportedly set to be offered the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani during the January transfer window.

This move could be triggered by Bukayo Saka’s hamstring injury, with Mikel Arteta confirming that the winger will be out for several weeks. Kolo Muani, who joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for €75m plus add-ons last year, has had a tough time securing a regular starting spot under manager Luis Enrique, starting just two games across all competitions this season.

When questioned about Kolo Muani’s situation earlier this month, Enrique explained, “I could speak about it, but I won’t because my decisions say it all. Although, as I’ve mentioned, all my decisions can be changed.”

This lack of opportunities has led to speculation that Kolo Muani might push for a move away from PSG. Reports suggest that Arsenal could be among the clubs offered a chance to bring the 26-year-old on loan in January, although they have not yet confirmed their interest.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is also rumored to have held early discussions for a potential loan deal with Kolo Muani. In November, during the international break, the French striker expressed his determination to fight for his place at PSG.

He told Telefoot, “You have to keep your mental strength up. It’s up to me to keep working so the coach trusts me. It’s part of my history; I’ve never had things easy.” Kolo Muani added, “I have to work harder, make an impression when he calls on me, and give my all so he can trust me.”

When asked if he had thought about leaving PSG, he firmly responded, “No, I never tried to think about that. I have to continue to work, show what I can do, and give my all. I must not give up. If you give up, it’s over, you sink.”
