Arsenal leveled the score in the 52nd minute, courtesy of William Saliba’s clinical finish from a set piece. A well-placed cross by Declan Rice was headed down, allowing Saliba to slot home. VAR reviewed the goal for offside but ultimately let it stand.
Late drama unfolded in the 88th minute as Bukayo Saka appeared to secure the win with a header from Gabriel Martinelli’s cross. However, celebrations were cut short when VAR ruled the goal offside, leaving Arsenal frustrated.
Liverpool’s lead remains intact, with Arsenal left ruing another missed chance in the title race.
