As the window approaches, several Atalanta stars, including Lookman, have become targets for Premier League powerhouses, with Liverpool reportedly interested in the winger.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, D’Amico emphasized the club’s commitment to retaining their squad: “The January transfer window is challenging for all clubs.
If opportunities arise, we’ll consider them, but our priority is to keep the squad intact.”
Lookman, who contributed an assist in Atalanta’s recent 1-1 draw against Lazio, has been instrumental this season.
The Nigerian forward has scored 11 goals and delivered six assists in 20 matches, showcasing his importance to the team and helping them maintain their competitive edge in the Europa League.
